About

I’m Erin, a pharmacist living and working on the beautiful NSW Central Coast. I started work as a pharmacy junior 15 years ago. I have a B.Science degree, followed by a M.Pharm degree and have now been a registered pharmacist for almost 7 years. I’ve always been in Community Pharmacy, and have seen a lot of changes in the 15 years I’ve been in the industry, some good, some not so good.

This blog has been started on the advice of one of my friends who came into my life as my Personal Trainer, at the start of my journey. Without that start, and her positivity and understanding of health, nutrition and fitness, I wouldn’t be here. It was my complaining about my situation professionally during one of our catch-ups that she told me to put something out there, start a blog, and maybe one day, use what I know to help people who actually want help.

I’ve done two posts now, and I know that its mostly just background. And I am aware that a lot of this came from personal experience. But from that experience my pharmacist professional side has grown to encompass not just dispensing medications or medication advice, but also to think about the whole picture.

I’m looking forward to learning more, reading and researching more, and of course, making lots of yummy, healthy foods 🙂

How I’ve come to think in 2014

I think the proverb above describes what a lot of the healthcare profession have often forgotten.

Hi Erin, I like your blog. It is very inspiring. The Ayurvedic quote you have included above is the essence of good health. Very true 🙂 Thank you for stopping by my blog. Have a nice day…
